Honestly one of the BEST dessert places in the South East! 🤩 I got the Bueno waffle and an açai bowl, and both were absolutely amazing. The waffle was so fresh, warm and delicious, and the extra sauce was literally the BEST 😭🤌🏽 You can tell they don’t hold back with the toppings either! The best worker was abdul amazing customer service The açai was just as good, super fresh and full of flavour. Everything was made perfectly and tasted even better than I expected. The customer service was also AMAZING — everyone was so friendly, welcoming and lovely. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again and again. If you’re looking for a good dessert spot in the South East, you NEED to try this place. 10/10 from me! ❤️🔥
I wanted to try this place out because of a video that I saw on Instagram talking about. After my short stay (because it was getting packed and myself being the only guy there, felt like I was taking up a table that a group of three could have used), I was rather pleased by my experience. This place is typical of the other desert places that you'll see around the Dandenong area. Whilst that's not a bad thing, it is the atmosphere that really sealed the deal for me. Going in and I must say, the place is very clean. Not much going in the way of decor, but I suppose the main attraction isn't the place, but the food. I will say that the people added to the vibe of the place because everyone either seemed to enjoy the food, or seemed rather pleased during their dining experience. I suppose when it comes to places like Munch Spot, then aesthetics take a backseat; the food is centrality of the business. And that's the main part of this review. What I ordered was Cookies & Cream Red Velvet Scoopable Cookie Dough along with the Iced Coffee. I'm going to be honest, I hadn't felt that the cookie dough part of the dish was what I had imagined it to be or what I saw on the Instagram reel. Maybe I'm eating it wrong or there's more to the dish that I'm missing. If the owners wish to elucidate, then please do so. I wouldn't want to do the wrong thing and have this review inadvertently reflect poorly on you. The taste itself was actually quite good. The texture of the "dough" was more akin to a say, a fudge. I enjoyed the richness of the Red Velvet that had Oreo bits embedded in the dough. The Iced Coffee was rather typical of Iced Coffee you could get pretty much anywhere else. It hadn't really stood out to me. The cost of the two items were $24. A little expensive. Overall this desert place was a good experience. For cleanliness of the place it gets the full 5 out of 5. The atmosphere is a 4 out of 5 due to the jovility of the place. The food I will say is 3 out of 5. I think I'm missing something but next time I Do I recommend this place? Absolutely!
