The creator recommends the Truffle Duo Ramen.
The creator loved the signature chicken ramen’s thick, rich, creamy broth and handmade noodles, and also tried matcha and spicy ramen. They praised the appetizers and noted the food is halal, with no pork or alcohol.
They tried the signature chicken ramen and chicken carbonara, praising the creamy broths and al dente noodles; they preferred the signature chicken. They also said they would order the fried chicken, chicken dumplings, kimchi and extra soup again.
The creator praised the creamy, rich chicken broth, chewy al dente noodles, and tender chicken. They recommend the signature chicken paitan as the safer choice and the truffle ramen for people who enjoy a strong truffle flavour.
The creator praised the thick, creamy eight-hour chicken broth, al dente thick noodles, and juicy chicken chashu. They especially liked the truffle ramen for its added umami depth.
They specialise in chicken paitan ramen with a rich, creamy, umami broth simmered for over eight hours, house-made noodles and tender slow-cooked chicken chashu. Other options include matcha, truffle and black garlic ramen.
The creator praised the signature Chicken Paitan Ramen for its rich, creamy, silky-smooth broth, slow-cooked chicken and springy noodles. They also said the Green Tea Ramen and Chicken Carbonara Ramen were impressive, and recommended the chicken dumplings and fried chicken to share.
Tori No Keiji specialises in rich and creamy chicken paitan ramen, with 6 different options on the menu. We tried the Signature Chicken Ramen with shoyu and the Green Matcha Ramen. Their chicken broth is slowly simmered for 8 hours and you can really taste the depth of chicken flavour. Rich, creamy and super flavourful. The matcha ramen might sound a little unusual, but hear me out 👀 The slight bitterness from the matcha with the savoury chicken broth actually worked. Definitely one to try if you’re feeling adventurous 🍵🍜 The chicken chashu was tender and not dry at all. I’m also a sucker for thick noodles and theirs were right up my alley. Nice and chewy with the perfect thickness to hold onto all that broth. If you need some extra carbs, add the Chicken Don with that runny egg yolk 🤤 They also have plenty of small bites including fried chicken and dumplings. We tried the Kyoto Matcha Highball and Yuzu Spark Highball too. All their drinks are non alcoholic and the restaurant is 100% halal. What we ordered 🍜 - Green Matcha Ramen $23 - Signature Chicken Ramen $19.80 ✨ - Chicken Don $10.80 - Keiji’s Fried Chicken $8.80 - Signature Chicken Dumplings $8.80 / 4pcs - Kyoto Matcha Highball $8.80 - Yuzu Spark Highball $8.80
Thanks for bringing authentic HALA RAMEN to Melbourne! We tried the truffle and spicy ramen. Both taste amazing, but as a spicy lover, of course the spicy ramen was my favorite. We also tried the side dishes like prawn springroll (best!), signature chicken dumplings, and Keiji’s Fried Chicken. For the drink, we ordered greentea and Kyoto Matcha Latte (must-try!). Besides, the place itself was so clean, tidy and spacious. Even the bathroom. The queue also moving fast so we don’t need to wait to long. Good job!
