Sooo goood!! One of the best and most authentic Japanese matcha & warabimochi cafes in Melbourne! 🇯🇵🍵 Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Japanese matcha and sweets! I had the Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea and Warabimochi with kinako, and both were absolutely delicious! I’ve never had such authentic warabimochi in Australia before. I especially loved the little touch of salt — it was such a nice accent and complemented the sweetness perfectly. I heard that all the ingredients and recipes come from Japan and that no additives are used. No wonder everything tasted so authentic — it genuinely made me feel like I was back in Japan! The staff were also very friendly and polite, and the customer service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended! 日本に戻った気分になれました🇯🇵 ありがとうございます🍵
Lovely team with friendly hospitality, good drinks, and the yummiest warabimochi I've had. There's only standing room and no seating, so it's more of a grab and go situation. We came here during soft opening, and we much preferred their Japanese Royal Milk Tea drinks, especially the Genmaicha Milk Tea and Royal Milk Tea and with Salted Honey Foam. Warabimochi was so soft, served with okinawa brown sugar syrup and flakey salt.
Warabimochi could be a bit softer and the green tea flavour was slightly bitter. Best matcha around! I had the strawberry matcha which was excellent! Great matcha flavour and they used actual strawberries and not jam.
