delicious food. 🍔 double cheeseburger has a perfect meat:cheese:bread ratio. and a very hard sear on the beef. lots of char. great homemade bun. 🍗 fried chicken two piece with the bun is excellent. not too greasy. the secret herbs and spices were there. mcdonald's fries. bbq sauce also tastes like mcdonald's bbq sauce but better. very satisfying to eat. the spiced gravy that comes with the roll is basically butter chicken gravy. all the sauces and all the breads here are very good. 🍩 had the strawberry cheesecake donut. nice real berry flavour in the icing (not just pink colouring). cream cheese frosting inside a donut goes very well. and the actual base donut is great. i appreciate that it actually tastes a fried piece of dough. not just a ring shaped cake. would like to try more of their donuts. place was not too busy on a weekday lunch. everything came out hot and freshly cooked. overall would highly recommend going out of your way to come here. proper satisfying food.

Dinner @JuanitaPeaches I ordered the cheeseburger, a piece of fried chicken, and also for takeaway, a rhubarb donut. Biting in to the burger presents a nice soft bun with a well cooked beef pattie oozing a smoky flavour, gooey melted cheese, thinly cut onions, some acidity from the gherkins, and a slight sourness from the American mustard. Great combination and balance of ingredients to make a delicious burger conaiatent woth every bite. A very solid offering and satisfying. The single chicken piece is large, as big as the burger nearly! Very fleshy, succulent juicy chicken which has been perfectly cooked and piping hot from the kitchen, surrounded by a thin crunchy batter which is a deep golden brown. I think the batter needs to be much thicker to provide far more crunch. You can see from the top of thr chicken ot looks bare, missing batter, maybe it stuck to the implements and came off. Definitely needs more seasoning. More batter would help amplify the flavour. Later on I tucked into the rhubarb donut which is nice and soft, has a nice glaze with just enough sweetness. The slight acidity, freshness, and sweetness of the rhubarb livens up the donut and adds texture as you munch your way through. Very tasty and most of the donut varieties had gone so happy to nab one for dinner.

Came here for dinner and had a double cheeseburger with fries, a piece of fried chicken and an apple fritter. The beef patties in the cheeseburger were thick and meaty but it was fully cooked and a bit too dry for my preference. Tastewise it was solid, savoury and cheesy balanced with a bit of acidity from the pickles. The fries were decent; a little crispy and lightly salted. The fried chicken breast piece had a thick crispy batter which was nicely seasoned, and the meat was tender and not dry; pretty tasty. The best part of the meal was the apple fritter which was soft and fluffy with a little crisp outside, coated in sugar glaze and topped with thick cream and biscuit crumble. It was sweet and decadent and I like how there were apple pieces evenly distributed in the fritter so you get a bit of apple in each bite. Overall it was a satisfying meal with friendly service from the staff.
